High-Acuity Medical Standby For Utah’s Hardest Events.

Advanced trauma response and purpose-built off-road extraction for motocross, mountain bike racing, desert racing, sprint car, and extreme sports events. ALS-led. Sanctioning-body compliant. Utah Code 53-2d-210 fully compliant.

The Risk Profile

High-Energy Trauma.
Remote Access. Real Consequences.

When a rider goes down hard on a remote section, a standard 911 response is not fast enough. Canyon and trail terrain means 20–40 minutes to EMS. The only thing standing between that rider and a preventable outcome is the responder already on course.

🏔

Remote Access

Singletrack is inaccessible by standard ambulance. Every response requires a trail-capable vehicle first.

High-Energy Trauma

Head, spinal, fracture, soft-tissue. Not “scraped knee” incidents. Requires trained responders with the right equipment fast.

📡

Communication Gaps

Canyon terrain limits radio and cellular. Multi-section coordination creates dangerous delays without a structured command plan.

Legal Exposure

Utah Code 53-2d-210 requires physician-directed oversight. Inadequate coverage means direct liability for the event organizer.

Arsenal Deployed For Off-Road

MILE 1
Start/holeshot zone — highest crash density of the loop. First-corner pileups, holeshot contact, and rider-on-rider incidents concentrated here.
EMT · Medical Response UTV
MILE 2
Whoops and jump section — high-energy trauma risk from missed landings, swapped bikes, and case-out impacts. Trail-accessible by scout dirt bike only.
EMT · Scout Dirt Bike
MILE 3
Mid-loop technical section — silt, rocks, off-camber turns. Most remote position from staging. Extended extraction route to road ambulance.
EMT · Scout Dirt Bike
MILE 4
Open desert straight — high speeds, dust visibility hazard, rider-vs-rider passing zone. Aerial oversight recommended for blind sections.
Guardian Angel Drone
ROVER
Dedicated central rover, ALS Paramedic on dirt bike — rapid response to any position on the loop. Carries blood, advanced airway, and extended trauma kit.
Paramedic · Medical Response UTV
BASE
Finish line / road staging — treatment hub, mobile clinic, ambulance liaison, and incident command. Family/spectator medical also handled here.
GMMC · Road Crew
