DISCRETION
POLICY

Many of our production, executive, and corporate clients require us not to name them publicly. That is not a footnote — it is part of what they are buying. When you hire Guardian MedX under a confidentiality arrangement, your production, your cast, and your locations stay out of our marketing. References are available under NDA to qualified buyers on request.

The Problem On A Film Set

A Medical Delay Costs
Thousands Per Hour.

Set medicine is unlike event medicine. You need discretion, set etiquette, IATSE fluency, and the ability to handle everything from stunt injuries to remote-location basecamps — without slowing the shot.

/ 01

STUNT & PRACTICAL RISK

Falls, pyro exposure, rigging, animal work, vehicle action. Real trauma risk on every insert day — and a crew that cannot wait 20 minutes for EMS.

/ 02

Remote Utah Locations

Moab, the Salt Flats, the Uintas, the Wasatch. Your location is hours from a standard ambulance. Your medic needs trail-capable transport and remote-medicine credentials.

/ 03

Set Discretion & Union Fit

Cast and crew require invisible medical presence. Your safety meetings require OSHA-credentialed personnel. Your completion-bond underwriter requires documentation.

The Guardian Protocol Applied

Four Stages. Film-Specific.

Every production engagement runs through the same four-stage protocol. Every stage produces a document your UPM, your broker, and your bond company can read.

01

Assess

Location-scout medical assessment. Nearest trauma center, drive times, heli LZ identification, permit coordination with county.

02

Deploy

Set medic (OSHA 30), remote basecamp setup (GMMC), Arsenal sized to location profile, specialty credentials per shoot type.

03

iNTEGRATE

Production safety meeting attended. EAP drafted and filed. 911 liaison established. Physician-authorized protocols active.

04

Document

Every clinical contact in HIPAA-compliant ePCR. AAR to production and bond company within 24 hours of wrap.

Film & TV FAQ

Questions UPM's Ask.

Q · Are you IATSE-familiar and union-crew compatible?

Yes. Our OSHA 30 supervisors work to the same safety standard as your Key Grip and Production Safety Rep. We integrate into your existing production safety culture rather than operating alongside it.

Q · Can you cover remote locations like Moab, the Salt Flats, or the Uintas?

Yes. Our Wilderness EMT and Wilderness Paramedic credentials plus the full Arsenal (UTV, Dirt Bike, ATV, Drone, Mobile Clinic) are specifically designed for Utah’s remote production locations.

Q · Are you Utah Code 53-2d-210 compliant?

Yes. Guardian MedX operates under an in-house Emergency Physician Medical Director — the same model used by municipal 911 systems. Clinical protocols are owned and maintained by a licensed emergency physician. Utah raised the bar in May 2025; we already meet the full standard, and the audit trail is handled so you don’t have to manage it.

Q · Will my completion bond underwriter and insurance broker approve you?

Our Credentials & Compliance page is specifically designed to be forwarded to underwriters. We carry stacked insurance (GL + Professional + Umbrella + individual per responder). Medical Direction Letter available on request.

Q · How do you handle on-set discretion around cast, talent, and closed sets?

NDA as standard. Role-based, not named, testimonials by default. Many of our production clients are never publicly identified. If your production requires the highest discretion tier, that is our default operating standard.

Q · Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance with production listed as additionally insured?

Yes, same-day. One-form request at the Credentials page. Our liability structure supports additionally-insured endorsements on request.

Your Production's Medical Infrastructure Starts With A Conversation.

NDA-ready. References available. Same-day COI.
