Four Coverage Tiers.
Matched To Your Event's
Actual Risk Profile.

Every Guardian MedX engagement is venue-specific. But the capability ladder is consistent: Tier 1 for low-acuity controlled venues, Tier 2 for mid-size and multi-day, Tier 3 for high-attendance or backcountry, Tier 4 for aviation and MCI-class events. Pricing is venue-specific and quoted on the discovery call but every tier scopes the same way.

HOW TIERS WORK

The Risk Profile Picks The Tier. Not The Other Way Around.

We don’t sell the cheapest package or upsell the most expensive. The tier is determined by four factors that produce the event’s actual risk profile. The Risk Calculator on the Resources page is the same logic we use internally on a discovery call.

FACTOR 01

Event Type

Indoor sport vs. desert race vs. airshow each carry distinct trauma profiles. Aviation events always escalate to Tier 3 minimum.

FACTOR 02

Attendance

10,000+ attendees triggers MCI-class planning and a Tier 3 floor regardless of event type. Below that, attendance modulates within tier.

FACTOR 03

Terrain & Access

Backcountry or aviation venues trigger a Tier 3 floor — ground EMS access times alone change what coverage has to look like.

FACTOR 04

Duration

Multi-day events with overnight presence escalate complexity meaningfully — basecamp footprint, crew rotation, OSHA-30 supervision.

THE FOUR TIERS

What's Included
At Each Tier.

Each tier carries a defined scope: personnel credentials, arsenal deployed, documentation depth, and supervision. Numbers and pricing are scoped on the discovery call, every venue scopes differently. What’s listed below is what’s in the tier, not what it costs.

Questions New Clients Ask.

Why isn't pricing on this page?
Two reasons. First, every venue scopes differently — the same tier costs different numbers at a paved indoor venue and a backcountry venue with helicopter staging. Publishing a number would either be misleadingly low (hurting you when we have to scope up) or scary high (hurting both of us when you walk away). Second, the discovery call is the deliverable: by the time we're talking, we already know the tier from the Risk Calculator, so the conversation is about scope, not haggling.
Can I move between tiers during an engagement?
Yes — and we expect to recommend changes. If a Tier 2 quote turns into a Tier 3 venue once we walk it, we'll tell you on the spot. If you're worried about a Tier 3 quote and the actual risk is Tier 2, we'll tell you that too. The tier is determined by the venue, not by what you want to spend.
What's the difference between Tier 3 and Tier 4?
Tier 3 is the highest tier where the operational profile is still "single venue, single integrated team." Tier 4 introduces multi-agency coordination — ARFF, airport ops, FAA, regional EMS, fire — as a baseline requirement, plus aviation-specific clinical capability (Flight Paramedic, NFPA 472 HazMat). If your event has aircraft on the field or your incident plan starts with "coordinate with airport ops," you're Tier 4.
How does the Risk Calculator decide a tier?
It scores four factors — event type, attendance, terrain, duration — on a 4-to-20 scale, then maps the score to a tier band. Three overrides apply: airshows escalate to Tier 3 minimum, backcountry terrain escalates to Tier 3 minimum, and 10,000+ attendance escalates to Tier 3 minimum. The full logic is in the calculator on the Resources page.
Will you compete on price?
No. We compete on capability, documentation, and Utah Code 53-2d-210 compliance. There are vendors in this market who quote lower because they staff with non-credentialed responders, skip the physician oversight, or don't produce the documentation. That price gap is the cost of the legal and clinical exposure being shifted onto your event. We won't match it.
What's the next step after I pick a tier?
Use the Risk Calculator on the Resources page. It captures your inputs and lands them in our inbox alongside your contact request. We respond within one business day with a discovery call slot. By the time we're on the phone, we already know the venue profile and the recommended tier, so the call goes straight to scope and timing — not intake.

The Tier Picks Itself. The Engagement Doesn't.

Use the calculator. We'll handle the rest.
